I can't stop laughin' - man, this is why I'm just so happy to be a part of the Ron Paul movement... the people involved are just so... freakin' funny, creative, positive, intelligent, kind, logical, compassionate and mind-blowingly and heart-warmingly wonderful!

Heart With No Companion: Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem

Keep The Coffee Coming - 6 hours 11 min ago
One of my favorite lines in a review of Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem is they make Leonard Cohen seem joyful, but I beg to differ as I find their music hopeful and exuberant. Rani more often takes the singing lead, but each of them sings and each of them plays. Rani is the fiddler, Scott Kessel the percussionist, Andrew Kinsey plays bass and Nayak is the guitarist. "Dirty hands, iced tea, garden fragrances thick in the air and a blanket of color before me, who could ask for more?"

Keep The Coffee Coming - 6 hours 42 min ago
We have had no rain, only overcast skies. Yesterday there was a breeze and less humidity. It made the deck the spot to be, and I sat outside and read. We had a toaster sitting on the counter when I was a kid. It worked fine with Wonder Bread but anything else usually got stuck. We'd take a butter knife and reach down in to try to dislodge the English muffin or whatever else it was that wouldn't pop. It was a simple procedure of sliding the knife down the side of the bread, impaling the bread...

Before without bangs...................

A Cape Cod Artist - 7 hours 1 min ago
Before without bangs...................................After with bangs. Last night I took a little time out of my busy schedule to pamper my 13 year old daughter. You know, girly stuff: manicure, pedicure, hair etc... then she decided on a whim that she wanted bangs so I took the scissors out and with one snip....Presto- bangs! (Ok, maybe they're a little crooked, but we'll fix that today). Now I keep looking at her wondering who that is, but I really like them. On another note, I don't...

As Cape Cod Turns - 7 hours 15 min ago
We are breaking into Sue's mini vacation to bring you this most important announcement! My brother, my mom, my nephew....all cancer survivors. My brother has taken this and spun it (no pun intended) into a good deed! He is riding the Pan Mass Challenge for the second year in a row, August 2 and 3rd. It is a 180 mile bike ride where he becomes one with the seat on his bike. The Pan Mass raises money for the Dana Farber Cancer institute in Boston. Discoveries here help people all over the world....

Long Live The Queen of Freedonia by the Sea

Cape Cod Living - 8 hours 45 min ago
From Wikipedia: "Freedonia" as metaphor in general English sometimes used in political editorials and news stories to connote a real country or place run by an autocratic leader who is out of step with his or her people. It is common to several blog page or article titles. The general content of blogs so named are articles having to do with the excesses of government. See: Duck SoupDays like today make it all worth while. It's easy to look back over the history of this blog and ask yourself...
